Alexander Superfin – NECG Affiliate
Alexander has 35 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, managing large projects in the United States, Russia, Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Caucasus and Turkey.

Along with a diverse technical and commercial background, Alexander brings an expertise of international nuclear project development and management. From 2010 to 2017, Alexander served in a variety of leadership roles at Rosatom group of companies. Among other assignments, in 2014 -2017, he was involved in development of international Small Modular Nuclear Reactors (SMR) program.
From 2011 to 2014, Alexander was CEO of Akkuyu Nuclear Project Company formed by Rosatom and was responsible for development and implementation of a $20 Billion, 4,800 MW Nuclear Power Plant project in Turkey, leading a team of 200 professionals in Turkey and Russia.
Earlier in his career, Alexander worked for 17 years for Bechtel Group in engineering, international business development and project management. He also held senior positions at various power sector construction companies and performed consulting work for the World Bank in Washington, DC.
Alexander holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical engineering from Moscow Power Engineering Institute.
