Mr. Michshenko has unique hands-on experience and is one of the very few International industry experts with vast expertise in working with the world’s leading uranium producers, JSC Kazatomprom in Kazakhstan and Navoi Metal and Metallurgical Combine in Uzbekistan.

Mr. Michshenko has been involved in industry’s key business initiatives of the past 12 years including forging of groundbreaking uranium supply agreement between Kazakhstan and India in 2009, purchase of the 10% share of Westinghouse by Kazatomprom, initial stages of fuel assembly project between Kazatomprom and Areva, and conversion services project between Ulba Metallurgical Plant (Kazakhstan) and Cameco Corporation.
Mr. Michshenko participated in bi-lateral efforts (Kazakh – French and Kazakh – Indian), which ultimately resulted in successful execution of nuclear security protocols and long term supply opportunities of Kazakh – mined uranium concentrates.
Mr. Michshenko supervised the strengthening of the ties between Ulba Metallurgical Plan and Materion Resources (former Brush Wellman Corp.) on supply of Beryl and Beryllium ore.
Mr. Michshenko is well recognized within government and quasi-government circles in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Mr. Michshenko has created many opportunities for successful joint projects and currently nurtures many more exciting initiatives, which have been developed jointly with the region’s most successful businesses, including rare earth metals, isotopes, and mining & exploration equipment.
Mr. Michshenko is a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon International Honor Society in Economics. He is a member of Kazakhstan Electrical Engineers Union and a permanent panelist on the Urban Planning Committee of the City of Almaty. Mr. Michshenko is a native English speaker who is also fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and Kazakh.
